BMC CONTROL-M/CM for Advanced File Transfer

Transferring files between platforms and applications is used in many organisations as a way of integration. As business processes span across multiple platforms, file transfers are becoming an integral part of the batch process. In many cases the tools being used to manage file transfers are separate from the job scheduler, which requires more resources and makes it difficult to meet service level agreements.

BMC CONTROL-M/CM for Advanced File Transfer transforms your CONTROL-M job scheduler into a file transfer scheduling engine. It allows you to define secured file transfers between multiple platforms, including mainframes and distributed systems. It enables you to easily create dependencies between batch jobs and file transfers on multiple servers. File transfer jobs can be monitored via the CONTROL-M Enterprise Manager, which provides real-time transfer information, including the status, file size, transfer rate, estimated remaining time, and more.
